Christopher Gilbert Pérez is the best known American guitarist, songwriter and songwriter as the lead guitarist of the group Tejano Selena y Los Dinos. He married the group's main wife, Selena, on April 2, 1992. Pérez grew up in San Antonio, Texas, as one of two children to Gilbert Pérez and Carmen Medina. In 1986, he joined Shelly Lares' group. At the end of the 1980s, Pérez was respected by the musicians of Tejano for his talents as a guitarist. This caused A.B. Quintanilla's attention; At the time, Quintanilla was looking for another guitarist for his produced group, Selena y Los Dinos.
