Vincent Jamal Staples is an American rapper, singer, songwriter and actor. He is a member of the hip hop trio Cutthroat Boyz alongside California rappers Aston Matthews and Joey Fatts. The Staples have served as close associates of Odd Future, namely Mike G and Earl Sweatshirt. He is currently signed to Motown Records and Blacksmith Records. Staples became famous for his appearances on the Odd Future members' albums and his collaborative mixtape titled Stolen Youth with Mac Miller, the project's producer. In October 2014, he released his first EP Hell Can Wait, which included the singles "Hands Up" and "Blue Suede". Her debut album, Summertime '06, was released on June 30, 2015 and received critical acclaim. He was also featured as part of First Year XXL 2015.
