Andre Thomas, 39, was condemned to death for the 2004 killings of his alienated spouse, Christine Boren, 20, their 4-year-old child Andre Lee and her 13-month-old little girl Leyha Marie Hughes.

He cut out the kids’ hearts during the lethal assault.

Thomas was to be executed in Texas on April 5, however State Region Judge Jim Fallon gave a request on Tuesday pulling out the execution date. Thomas’ legal counselors had mentioned extra chance to plan for a trial to survey his skill, refering to psychological instability.
