Edward Kenneth Knox is an American professional golfer who has competed in the PGA Tour, Nationwide Tour and Champions Tour. Knox was born in Columbus, Georgia. He and his brother were introduced to golf by his mother. He attended Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, where he won the All-American title as a member of the golf team. He graduated in 1978, moved professionally that year, and joined the PGA Tour in 1982. Knox won three events of his career on the PGA Tour. His first win was at Honda Classic in 1986. He was the first to win the first Second qualifying round in the PGA Tour and the only player to win with the 80's round. His came a year later at Hardee's Golf Classic and its about third in 1990 at the Buick Southern Open. During this phase of career, Knox earned more than two dozen top 10 charts and earned $ 1.6 million. His best result in a professional tournament was to finish fourth at the 1991 PGA Championship.
